Account Holds

Edited

Going out of town? If your farm allows it, you can pause all subscriptions by placing an account hold. While a "skip" is perfect for just skipping one order, holds are ideal if you're heading on vacation or need to pause orders for an extended period of time.

Accessing Holds

From the main menu, tap Account, then tap Holds. This tab only appears if your farm has enabled the hold feature for your subscription.

Viewing Your Holds

The Holds page displays a table of your active holds, each showing the date range (e.g., "Jan 1st, 2026 — Jan 15th, 2026"). If you have no active holds, you'll see a prompt inviting you to create one.

Creating a Hold

  1. Tap Create new hold.

  2. A calendar will appear. Select the start and end dates for your hold.

  3. Confirm your selection.

Your hold will take effect for all orders that fall within the selected date range. Holds cannot overlap with each other — if you already have a hold during part of that period, you'll need to adjust your dates.

Note: You will not receive notifications or any charges while your account is on hold. Orders will automatically resume once the hold is set to end.

Removing a Hold

If your plans change, you can remove an upcoming hold at any time.

  1. Find the hold you want to cancel in the table.

  2. Tap the Remove button next to it.

  3. Confirm the removal in the dialog that appears.

Once removed, your regular delivery schedule will resume for those dates.

Holding an Add-On Subscription

If your farm offers add-on subscriptions (like eggs, bread, or flowers), you can pause and resume them individually — without skipping your full CSA share.

🥚 How to Place a Hold on an Add-On

Head to the Subscriptions tab in your dashboard.
From there:

  1. Find the subscription you want to pause (for example, Egg Share).

  2. Click Pause next to it.

  3. Choose the date range you’d like to pause.

  4. Click Save — the status will update to Paused.

Your other subscriptions (like your Veggie Share) will continue as usual.

↩️ How to Resume an Add-On

If you paused an add-on and want to start receiving it again:

  1. Go back to your Subscriptions page.

  2. Click Resume next to the paused item.

  3. The status will change to Active, and you’ll see it added back to your upcoming orders.

Notes

  • Be sure to pause or resume before your weekly order cutoff.

  • Holds apply only to that specific add-on subscription — your main CSA share will not be affected.
